My Bio
I'm 33 as of May 2012, I'm Canadian and an air force brat, which has given me an affinity (or maybe a fetish) for the military. I'm an "INTJ" (introverted intuitive thinking judging) personality type and a mix of lawful- and chaotic-good tendencies-- I love freedom and justice and I'm generally suspicious of any authority but my own. I'm a strictly guy-on-guy kinda' guy but some of my best friends are straight(ish), so no hate for the breeding stock :) I'm mostly a social liberal/leftist, a democrat except when the masses demonstrate their stupidity. I'm a secular humanist and agnostic atheist with little use or regard for religion but I do lean toward Buddhist philosophy and the Shambhala 'movement'/teachings in particular. I have a B.A. from Saint Thomas University (major in English, almost-minors in Psych and Poli Sci) and I'm generally curious, analytical, and a critical thinker. I'm a bit of a trivia hound too. I love sci-fi, fantasy and absurdist humour.

Looking for a character illustrator

Hey there, I'm a D&D DM and player and I have a couple characters that I've sketched, but I'm long out of practice drawing and I'd love to see a couple of my favourite imaginary alter-egos realized in the kind of beautiful detail I've seen all over deviantart. I have little cashy-money to offer in compensation, but if you have a good portfolio that demonstrates a style I like and if you do commissions at a rate I can handle (or better yet, for the sheer love of drawing) I'd be happy to hear from you to describe my ideas.

HUGE!!!! I think your grasp of the characters is excellent, I did have a few problems here and there with understanding who is speaking from time to time but that could just be me. Most of my reading up until now has been technical or instructional. I'm not used to reading for pleasure until now. Usually, going back over the line again usually cleared up the problem: sometimes I read too fast. You have a great grasp for what constitutes tension, dramatic, personal and well....if I amy be so bold....sexual. I like that the intimate scenes were both brave and tasteful: graphic enough while at the same time not turning the piece into just another porn. It could also use some editorial passes, the sense I get is that some kind of auto correct feature is substituting the wrong word here and there but that is minor.
I spent all of my free time going through both stories, they were that compelling. For me, Mass effect was the first game that showed homosexual relationships not just in a positive light but normal. I liked that the romance options were not based on some hetero normative perception of same sex couples unlike the option available in Dragon Age 1. Your story carried that through.
I won't get into the ending debate here but, I will say I was heart broken to realize that My Shepard who picked synthesis as well, could not settle down with Kaidan. IT just wasn't fair! LOL! I've considered brushing up on my drawing (figure drawing especially) to see if I could draw some of these characters, ships, scenes etc. I am running a Mass Effect RPG for my husband and some of the stuff in your story helped a great deal in filling in the gaps of my ME universe knowledge. I will be linking him with your DeviantArt acct page so he can read both stories.
That is all I can really recommend: editorial passes and watch to make sure its clear who is speaking. By all means though don't take my word on that last one, like I said earlier, I read too fast and losing track my be my fault. Bring it up with your collaborators and they'll tell ya if I'm full of it. LOL!

Your "The Synthempathy Outcome"
has been large part of my so called post-vanilla-ending "therapy",
and even greater that it derives from synthesis rather than destroy,
which is rare with post-ending ME fanfiction.
